Not sure if any of you are followers of The Guild which is an online comedy webisode - never heard that word before until I watched The Guild interview. I caught a glimpse of a few episodes back at Christmas and since then there are now 9 episodes with a 10th one in the works. Not only that, but the makers have bagged a Youtube award it seems and are also availble for download on itunes!
Here is an interview of The Guild on youtube
Along with this other video of Felicia going nuts on a dance matt lol
Though it's got me thinking. What do people really think of things like this where people basically start something in their back yard stick it up on the internet for everyone to see for free and then after follow-up after follow-up start charging for their success? The Guild isn't unique for getting people online hooked into something and then to start charging. Do you mind paying for their on-going effort to keep bringing you more or do you feel slightly ripped off?
If you've got any favourite online shows like The Guild or you have a favourite game related web site and you just want to show us that it exists in the world wide web post it up. :)

Pure pwnage put together a DVD set that you could buy that has all the first seasons episodes on it, and then they created the "noob store." They make their money of t-shirts and other merch, and still offer the show for free. If the guild does something like that.. it would be awesome.
Though if the show sucked... or the show was sent out as a teaser to leave you drooling for more. I hate that. The Legend of Neill was that awesome show, and then comedy central bought it out and there is no info out there about when it will be on tv to watch.
