Virgin Media were shit to start with now they're offically the bastards of the business. At least in my book.

 http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/technology/7486743.stm

I'm sorry if you think my views are too harsh, but whatever you think I just don't approve of this at all. This is how the industry is going to try and reel all us 'stupid' people in? All us fucking morons that they sapped money out of. They're going to beat you with a stick like a red headed step child and tell you to stop misbehaving or you'll go to court and have to pay the industry even more money?

Hmmm I might not think that illegal downloading music is good and all that but who the fuck are Virgin Media to brush aside your consumer rights like that? Who the fuck is anybody to try to tap in so intimately into everything that you do? If you walk the street it's survallance tv, if you do your usual thing on the internet it's all survallanced. Next thing you know you can't take a dump or a piss without someone knowing or

Just a bunch of Goblins

Posted by Bluetear in Beam me up Scotty

I don't believe this, yet more squabbling within the big giants of the music industry about rights and sueing every day people.

This time a guy who picks up rare promo cd's from 2nd hand music shops and sells them on ebay. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7412671.stm

But what I don't understand is if the UMG or whatever they're called thinks that "some of the items he offered for sale online were promotional copies and not authorised for sale to the public." Then why is UMG sueing the guy who went to a 2nd hand shop to buy it? It's the retailer on the street that sold it to him in the first place that they should be dealing with. Even though I don't think they should be dealing with anyone in all honesty but obviously these people need to pick a fight with someone.

But it's really sad. I mean the promo CD is the art and work of the musician and often the reason these CD's end up in 2nd hand shops is because some radio station somewhere had a clear out. It is pathetic for the

You Wouldn't See it Anywhere Else

And that's exactly why I love London.

When a drink's ban is imposed on the London underground train network, Londoners don't just take it lying down. They throw a final party, get utterly hammered and trash the place! :)

Because emo is one step below transvestite

Posted by Bluetear in peanutneglectmoth ballsjesusFrag

Now all of a sudden the emo's want their voices to be heard.. or more like they want to whine more publicly. OFFS's grow the fuck up and shut the fuck up

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7425450.stm

"Listening to a band like MCR is a cathartic thing. And I suppose emo style is meant to be about standing out, looking different - even if all the other emo kids are dressed the same as you."

MCR! Sounds like a bad case of sexually transmitted disease. Emo style robs and borrows from everything that's already been around for ages. Canverse shoes with stars on them aren't a new revelation. And the only thing that makes them stand out are their colourful flourecent bracelets and teeth braces so you can run them over at night. Looking different... even if you all look the same... er... lost a few more brain cells have we? Too much MCR spilling around in there.

"Emo fans are mostly middle-class, often going through puberty," he says.

Yep, the amount of times I've seen a skinny stuck up

The Best Computer in the Goddamn Universe!

Posted by Bluetear in stuffFuck the frenchEvE

I really don't know all that much about gadgets, guts or anything remotely useful. Which is why I'm sitting on my ass asking you this question... name me the best computer in the goddamn universe and why it is you think it's so friggin amazing hot shot! lol

I'm sitting here with the realisation that at some point I am going to have to buy myself a new computer. And I could either pick at the parts I want (which right now feels both boring and uninspiring) or I could be really lazy and go for one of those bundle sets? Well you know lately there seems to be more computer's aimed at people like myself. Gamers who want it all. Looks, lights, glamour and optimun performance. Ok maybe I go for the shiney shiney a little too much... and all those blue LED lights, ropes and whatever else.

When I first laid my eyes on Alienware's stab at their machine's I first thought OMG! I can't believe my eyes. But a year has passed since then and finding out to my disgust that they're run by Dell with

An Addiction

Not sure if any of you are followers of The Guild which is an online comedy webisode - never heard that word before until I watched The Guild interview. I caught a glimpse of a few episodes back at Christmas and since then there are now 9 episodes with a 10th one in the works. Not only that, but the makers have bagged a Youtube award it seems and are also availble for download on itunes!

Here is an interview of The Guild on youtube You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this video

Along with this other video of Felicia going nuts on a dance matt lol You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this video

Though it's got me thinking. What do people really think of things like this where people basically start something in their back yard stick it up on the internet for everyone to see for free and then after follow-up after follow-up start charging for their success? The Guild isn't unique for getting people online hooked into something and then to start

Did he get so high?

Posted by Bluetear in Untagged

My first college year back in... 2004 (I think) Afroman came out with 'Because I got High' and I remember getting a lift to college when they played that tune on the radio on a sunny morning and I swear the radio DJ's were laughing after they played it! After that everyone was sitting around laughing their ass to it.

But what the hell happened to the guy? He released that one album which I didn't really pick up. And he had one other video on MTV 'Crazy Rap' which was pretty funny as well.

And then just dissapeared... One hit wonder? Or is the guy sitting on some island singing to a parrot whilst smoking the reefer lol
