We need a banner for the Frontpage, as you all may have noticed it has changed a bit. We are trying to make it a bit more useful and more Game/Music oriented instead of the same old blah of news that most people really don't care about.

Where the "Latest Reviews" box is located is where we are placing this new frontpage banner. We are also looking for someone to create a nice background image behind the Login Box to replace the blood splatter.

Both of these images must be about Gaming and Music, or just about Gaming. Example: Master Chief shooting the flood as a Blood Elf runs in the background towards an Eve-o spaceship.

-- Requirements: Frontpage Banner -- Reward: 80 Mill ISK (so far)
Measurements: 270 x 130 pixels [You can adjust height between 120 and 150]
File type: PNG, PSD [Any high quality type will work, include PSD if image has text]
Size: 50kb or less [If possible, post the very high quality and a quality within the limits]

Measurements: 420 x 64 pixels [You can extend height/width by 10 to 20 pixels]
File type: PNG, PSD [There shouldn't be any text]
Size: 20kb or less [Again, include both high quality and low]


I am not sure what the prizes will end up being or totaling but I am willing to throw in 10 million ISK to each winner of these 2 contests. I'm sure more of the staff here at EUR will throw in more ISK as well.

I'll give it a shot, besides theres nothing going on in my class today so it will give me some time to think of a design.

The rewards however, if I ever get my eve account back online would be very useful... for building my armada to take over the universe!!! (ok... thats not going to happen.. lol)

3rd Contest. This one is worth a little bit more.

We need a Full page Image, that is based just on Eve-Online and Music to be in the next issue of EON magazine. Zapatero just interviewed Dante and myself, and it would be awesome if we had little advert type thing to go with the article. Yes I said advert type thing.

It MUST be based around Eve-Online and Music because it is going into the Eve-Online Magazine known as EON. Also, this was sent to me when i asked Zapatero the specs for an Image... "If the logo is a layered vector file, resolution wouldn't matter. Layered anything would be good though, the higher the better. It's difficult to be specific without having a design in front of me. Bigger than 1k pixels square, 2k would be pretty awesome" It also need the URL for the webpage on it some where, and the EUR logo. (Ask Bluetear she has it right now)

Prize For the EON Image: 30-day GTC for Eve-Online. (If you don't play eve... add 14 days to that, so you can get eve a try for 44 days.)


Also, add 40 million isk to Karn's Prizes. I'm willing to up the ante for Karn.

Cool contest. Though don't ask shit from me right now coz I won't be able to get to it for a while. Which will slow things down for you guys. Doesn't Karn have the EUR logo?

Also.. just thought. Wouldn't it be really good to have the competitions in detail on the front home page for everyone to see nice and clear since these are pretty big deals? And you should probably think of a closing date.

Well, since it is a free reign design contest it makes it very difficult for me, because there are so many possabilties for the website.

And as for Xes' request, it only adds to the possabilties because instead of two requests now we have three to fill lol.

Soon as I finish up what I'm designing as a trial, I'll see if I can make it more elaborate... or just scrap the whole thing and use a wacom tablet and just hand draw the whole thing.

I'll stick 100m ISK in the pot for this worthy cause.
